■The "Courage" medal is awarded to military personnel of the Republic of Uzbekistan, State Security Service, National Guard, and internal affairs bodies for their courage and bravery in ensuring the national security of the republic, maintaining public order and fighting crime, while performing military duty or service. Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan or non-citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan can be awarded with the "Courage" medal for their bravery in maintaining public order, saving people's lives, state and public property during natural disasters, fires and other emergency situations.
